Support after yesterday’s tragedy at UNC-Chapel Hill

NC State community:

Our hearts go out to the UNC-Chapel Hill community following yesterday’s tragic events. NC State and UNC-Chapel Hill are closely aligned, both in our purpose and in the family members, friends and colleagues who make up our collective communities. When one of us experiences tragedy, we all grieve together, and we come together to support one another.

I know this news is difficult to accept and to understand. If you need support, please find help now through the many counseling resources and other support available to you at the university. Students can schedule an appointment with the Counseling Center or with one of our community providers. AcademicLiveCare also provides virtual counseling services for students.

Faculty and staff, in addition to resources offered to you through the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program, membership in the State Health Plan provides access to mental health coverage and other assistance through the Behavioral Health Resource Center

These resources and more are available on our Wolfpack Wellness website. Please take some time to review this information and connect with those around you for support.
