A Message about the Election

NC State community,

On the eve of election day, I hope you all have exercised your right and privilege to have your vote counted, or plan to do so tomorrow. 

Whether we know the outcome of the election tomorrow night or in the days ahead, I urge everyone in our community to be leaders in demonstrating civility and respect for each other on and off campus. No matter where your political ideals lie, let’s not forget we are one Wolfpack.

I have been inspired and energized by the enthusiasm and civic engagement many of our students, faculty and staff have displayed. Once the election is decided, I am confident our university will help lead the way in tackling the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
